This is an opportunity for end users to get their hands on the solution (as demoed, in the CLM Jazz Roadshow events).

It showcases the collaboration of an Analyst using Requirements Composer, Product Owners and Scrum Masters managing Release and Sprint Plans and Work Items using Team Concert, Developers developing source code associated to their assigned Work Items and Building updated applications using Team Concert, and Quality Engineers managing Test Plans, executing Test Scripts and Reporting using Quality Manager. The collaboration for the project is governed by a real-world Agile/Scrum-based development scenario and includes the Dashboard and Reporting, and Web2.0 collaboration techniques, i.e. Dashboard Widgets, Tag (and Tag Clouds), RSS Feeds, etc. This PoT shows the "art of what's possible" and the solution mechanisms available. It is a tremendous opportunity we can leverage.

*Doug Gulledge (dgulledge@us.ibm.com) or Valerie Beimfohr (Valerie.b@us.ibm.com) will need to register you for the event, so please contact one of us if interested or for more information. We will determine if we have enough registered participants to deliver the PoT on Oct. 15.

Attached is the flyer with additional information.

File: ClearCase / ClearQuest v8.0 Technical Update Slides

Blog Post: ScrumMaster Certification By ICON ATG

May 8-9 (Tues - Wed) in Chesterfield

The ScrumMaster Certification course introduces the concepts of agile project leadership using the Scrum framework. Successful participants will become Certified ScrumMasters (R), a first step in the journey toward skilled leadership of projects using Scrum. The course format is hands-on exercises and discussions with some lecture to define terms and concepts. Ample time is given to share the instructor's real-world experiences on a wide range of projects.

Objectives:

Prepare participants to effectively participate on projects using Scrum

Prepare participants to assume the ScumMaster role

Audience:

This course is intended for team members and managers involved in projects who may assume the ScrumMaster role. Typically, the ScrumMaster is a project manager, team lead, or development manager, but may also be a business analyst or any member of a Scrum team. In large organizations, it is recommended that Directors who oversee project teams or functional areas also participate.

Prerequisites:

A basic knowledge of Scrum is assumed. Experience on a Scrum project is desirable.

Certification:

Taking a Certified ScrumMaster® course and the corresponding evaluation designates you as a Certified ScrumMaster. This designates that you have been introduced to the basic concepts you need to perform as a ScrumMaster or team member on a Scrum Team. This course also satisfies two elements of the Certified Scrum Developer track: Scrum Introduction and Elective Description.

Outline:

Day 1

Introductions

Overview of Scrum

Motivations for Scrum

Agile and Scrum

Scrum Timeboxes

Tracking

Day 2

Scrum Roles

Product Backlog

User Stories

Release Planning and Forecasting

Scaling and Distribution

Organization Transformation

For More Information:

+1 636-530-7776

info@iconATG.com

www.iconATG.com

Wiki: St. Louis Rational User Group - Wiki

Wiki Page: St. Louis Rational User Group - Wiki

Group: St. Louis Rational User Group

Bring the Rational User Community to share their experiences.
