The Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD) process decision framework is a hybrid which adopts proven strategies from Scrum, XP, Agile Modeling, Outside In Development, Lean/Kanban, DevOps, and others in a disciplined manner. DAD provides goal-driven, tailorable advice for the full solution delivery lifecycle that goes beyond the software-construction focus of other agile methods.

Because delivery teams do not work in a vacuum DAD is enterprise aware, showing how agile teams can leverage and enhance their existing IT ecosystem in a governable manner. DAD is at the forefront of the new generation of agile/lean methods for the enterprise.

The final webcast in this series focused on process and project configuration, exploring the flexibility and capabilities for customizing Rational Team Concert (RTC). The integration with Rational Method Composer (RMC) was demonstrated. Additionally, custom process templates for Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD) and the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) were shown to explore how Team Concert can scale Agile & Lean concepts from the project, to the program and portfolio level.

Bing Xu, Development Lead for Rational Method Composer, joined Carson Holmes on this webcast to demonstrate the integration capabilities between RTC and RMC. This was a two-hour finale of a three part Webcast Series.
