The use of distributed project teams for the delivery of software solutions has become commonplace within the industry. The delivered benefits often include the availability of skilled resources, specific sector expertise, and a reduction in time and cost. However, as the expectations of business customers increases, with demands for greater agility and the ability for teams to react to business change, most distributed teams have failed to meet these demands, especially when projects are large and complex. This presentation will share Julian’s experiences of working with clients to successfully adopt Agility @ Scale for large and complex delivery projects, with project teams spread across at least two countries.
