I love hosting the Toronto Rational User Group. I am an Account Manager with Web Financial Solutions and support the sales cycle from lead generation through contract negotiation and engagement fulfillment. ! I consistently achieve sales goals while operating within budget. I am well versed in traditional marketing strategies as well as social media outlets. I initiate and maintain positive relations with partners, vendors, clients and staff alike.

Shawn Doyle

Shawn Doyle is the CEO and lead consultant of ReleaseTEAM, a consulting company specializing in Software Configuration Management.

Shawn has hands on experience working as a ClearCase admin since 1992, ClearQuest since 1999, ClearDDTS starting in 1991; as well as working an administrator for many IBM Rational tools such as; RTC, RQM, RRC, Rhapsody, Rose, Purify, Purecoverage, Quantify, APEX, DOORS, RequisitePro, Synergy and Change.

Shawn has been active in the Rational User Groups since starting the Colorado User Group in 1999, which is still going strong.

As an acknowledged expert in his field, he is great to work with because of his calm nature and ability to inspire trust in relationships. He is also an excellent business manager who has great people on his staff, which says a lot about him.

Carson Holmes

Carson Holmes is a management consultant, methodologist, software engineer, and educator. He is the community leader at Software Development Experts, the Vice President of Service Delivery at Fourth Medium Consulting Inc., and President of the Global Rational User Community. Mr. Holmes started programming over 30 years ago and for the last 16 years has helped numerous Fortune 500 IT enterprises across a variety of industries achieve their strategic goals. He is a specialist in IT governance and process improvement and leverages pragmatic methods, practices, and tools that benefit the enterprise IT value stream.

Mr. Holmes is a natural leader skilled at building great teams and delivering solutions that maximize business value. As a management consultant, he is an agent for change and often works with senior level executives to fine tune their organization for efficiency and effectiveness. Mr. Holmes is a proponent of process enactment and workflow automation and leads a new virtual user group focused on Jazz and CLM. He regularly presents at user groups and software conferences, and holds a degree in computer science and engineering from the University of California, Los Angeles.

Julian Holmes

Julian Holmes is the founder of AgileMentors a small international consulting company, promoting an Agile vision for software development, working within the industry and with clients to improve software delivery capability. He has a proven track record in enhancing the software development capability of large and complex IT organisations. These skills stem from the experience of performing many different software development roles over his 20+ years working within the industry, providing him recognition as a proven software development leader.

Julian became known for his work with the Rational Unified Process in 1999, becoming quickly regarded as a leader as to its successful use, and in its implementation for project teams and organisations alike. More recently Julian has been working to expand the use of Agile practices, specifically in the adoption of Disciplined Agile Delivery, working closely with Scott W Ambler and Associates.

Julian is a VP of the Global Rational User Community providing support to user groups across Europe and Asia, and leads the UK Group with 800 members. He has attended and presented at Rational’s annual conference every year since 2002, regularly presenting at many IBM regional events.

Julian also became an IBM Rational Champion for Agile in 2011, in recognition of his outstanding contributions to IBM Rational communities.

Lea Ann Luter

LeaAnn W. Luter has been a member of the North Florida Rational Users Group for eight years, six of those years participating as a board member. Currently, she is the Finance Director for the group and enjoys the challenge of fundraising for the not-for-profit group. She has participated in the Global Rational User Group Community for approximately two years. Currently LeaAnn is an independent contributor in her area working as a Customer Liaison/Deployment Lead with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida, allowing her to work with both Business and IT teams on projects. She has the opportunity to work closely with the SDLC shop, and utilize Rational Tools when working with Project Teams.

Tom Weinberger

Tom works as Program Manager or Project Manager of Enterprise roll-outs of Rational Unified Process and Rational tools.

Also works with Rational Methods Composer (RMC) or Eclipse Process Framework (EPF) as process engineer and methodologist to deliver System Development Methdodologies to companies at the enterprise level.

He also mentors teams on SDM adoption utilizing Iterative and Agile methods to achieve rapid, quality product development.
